The executive committee evaluates paper proposals for the annual meetings. Executive Committee members do not review papers where they have a conflict of interest or where they are an author. Simple averages of the committee members evaluations are used to rank proposals and the top 20-25 are accepted for presentation at the meeting. The ranking of papers accepted may be modified given the number of presentations associated with the authors – a given author will be allowed 2-3 accepted papers – and the ranking may be modified given the quality of past presentations.
