The 2025 NCCC-134 Conference on Applied Commodity Price Analysis, Forecasting and Market Risk Management will take place on April 20-21, 2026 in Chicago, Illinois. The program will run from 12-4:30pm on Monday, April 20, and 9am-3pm on Tuesday, April 21.

Registration

Registration is online. Early registration (covering the full program, breaks, conference dinner on Monday, and lunch on Tuesday) is $175 for Faculty and Professionals and $75 for Students. Rates increase by $75 per person after March 19, 2026.

Venue

The conference will be held at the Illini Center, 200 S. Wacker Drive, Chicago, Illinois.  Participants should arrive at 200 S. Wacker Dr. approximately 30 minutes prior to start of each day’s sessions. All participants MUST get a security pass in the building lobby to access the building. Lobby personnel have a list of all registered participants and will issue a pass upon presentation of matching official identification (driver’s license, passport, etc.) All participants should pick up a conference badge with their name and affiliation from the conference organizers at the Illini Center on the 19th floor.

Lodging

Attendees are responsible for their own lodging. Room blocks have been reserved at:

Both hotels are a short walk (2-3 blocks) from 200 S. Wacker Drive where the meeting is being held. Please note room blocks will be released on March 19, 2026. (No guaranteed room reservations or rates will be available after this date.)

Travel

Attendees are responsible for their own travel to and from the NCCC-134 conference. The following is for informational purposes only.

Air: Chicago is home to two major airports: O’Hare International Airport (ORD) and Midway International Airport (MDW). Together they offer approximately 1,400 daily direct flights to more than 200 destinations. O’Hare is about 17 miles from downtown Chicago, and Midway is about 10 miles from downtown Chicago.

From the airport, GO Airport Express offers a shared shuttle service between both airports and hotels/attractions in downtown Chicago. Shuttle reservations are recommended. Alternative options include taking a taxi cab, Uber, or CTA bus or train. The CTA Blue Line provides service directly to and from O’Hare Airport, and the CTA Orange Line provides service directly to Midway Airport. Train: Amtrak serves downtown Chicago via Union Station (225 South Canal Street, Chicago, IL 60606). Union Station is about 0.5 miles from downtown Chicago.

Bus: Megabus provides daily, low-cost bus service with two stops in downtown Chicago. Peoria Charter Coach Company also provides daily bus service between both airports, Union Station, and downstate Illinois, including the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign campus.
