Coming soon… CropFlix! Your 2021 Virtual Crop Management Conference
Registration is now open for CropFlix, the virtual iteration of the 2021 Illinois Crop Management Conference.
CropFlix will provide you with binge-worthy content that is accessible right on your computer, tablet, or mobile device. CropFlix will be available on the Learn @ Illinois Extension platform, the same platform on which the Pesticide Safety Education Program’s online version is using.
All of the content for CropFlix will be available starting February 1 through February 28. Over 10 CEUs worth of content are available, most of which are presentations running about 30 minutes, which means you will have more flexibility to consume content that does not need your attention for an entire hour!
CropFlix is bringing more presenters, experts, and topics directly to your screens with this new virtual format than would otherwise allow for a typical Crop Management Conference. There are 13 different experts contributing content for CropFlix, including research updates, climate reviews, management recommendations, and more. New this year includes presentations on soil health, grain bin safety, nutrient loss in tile drainage systems, soil phosphorous, and more! Another component of CropFlix will be two virtual town hall-style events to provide CropFlix participants access to the experts to ask questions of them directly and generate discussions. These virtual town hall events will take place during the month of February as well and are available exclusively to CropFlix participants.
As far as registration goes, there are two options- one for individuals and one for groups. We have created a video to help with the registration process for individuals you can access under the “Registering” tab on the CropFlix homepage.
