Register for the farmdoc team December Conferences

University of Illinois Extension and the farmdoc Team have scheduled the Farm Assets Conference and Illinois Farm Economics Summits (IFES) for December. The Farm Assets Conference will be held Friday, December 13 in Champaign and followed by the IFES series in Mt. Vernon, East Peoria, and DeKalb the next week.

You need to attend only one of the four programs to see all of the farmdoc team presentations. The Farm Assets Conferences includes the IFES presentations plus the U of I Extension crop scientists. So, the same ag econ at all four but Champaign includes addtional content. The cost is $80 per person.

National Farm City Week runs from November 27 through December 4. University of Illinois Extension Farm Broadcaster Todd Gleason sat down with Assistant Dean for Extension Agriculture and Agribusiness Travis Burke and College of ACES associate professor of farm and economic policy Jonathan Coppess for an extended discussion about farmdoc, H5N1, the farm bill and the three pronged role of land grant university system.
